My daughter is certain she will be a doctor, though she’s not sure if she wants to treat humans or animals!
I’d say she has a pretty good bedside manner

too funny…we headed to toys r’ us with emma wanting a zhu zhu pet and instead somehow she came home with a doctor’s outfit that she wears constantly. she even went to bed in her scrubs.

Lately, I’ve been a little sad — Lucas is getting bigger and bigger, and while that is great (hey, maybe he’ll actually sleep through the night one day) — it is also kind of depressing because he is not my baby any more. And I am 99.9% sure this will be my last baby…and I LOVE babies…so what do you do?
You can’t freeze time — you can’t keep them little forever (which is actually a blessing!) — or can you???
I’ve been thinking — duh!!! What do I do for a living? I am a photographer — I freeze time every day! (Super Mom, to the rescue!)
But the key is to be intentional about what I capture — not just the perfect poses, but also the every day, real life moments. And what they say. And how they sound. That’s why I’m working so hard to finalize my “Story Collection” product — because I want to capture each person, through as many types of media as I can — to tell their whole story!
Selfishly, I want to capture this time as much as possible — I desperately want to survive the toddler stage, but I don’t ever want to forget it!

Oh it just breaks your heart doesn’t it? Bella is my little girl now … not my little baby. Luckily I have another one kicking my belly as I type so although my baby is growing up … I’ll have another one to cuddle and squeeze. And I’m rooting for the .01% chance of baby #4.
